After a five-day administrative board trial, the firm’s client was acquitted of the most serious charges of “use of excessive force” and police brutality. After cross-examination of the Department’s two key witnesses, the hearing officer found them to be wholly incredible. The officer will now proceed to a second stage trial on the more minor infractions which were sustained.
